At Jack's Animal Rescue, we believe in quality over quantity by working with every dog in our care
Jack’s Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding every dog
in our rescue’s forever home. Since the organization's founding in December of
2018, due to an overpopulation of dogs in the area, we have always had one
main mission. To focus on the quality of adoptions over the quantity of adoptions.
This mindset has resulted in only one dog ever being returned to the rescue
which was later adopted again. We can assure we will do our best to help you
find the perfect companion while making the whole process as smooth as possible.
As mentioned above here at Jack’s we always put quality before anything else
in the adoption process. This means in addition to training all dogs in our program we
also ensure all
dogs are happy and healthy. The owner also meets with each
family during the process allowing for a sounder mind during and post adoption.
We also have looser restrictions on
who we allow to adopt, allowing for people
of any living situation: house, apartment, farm, etc to adopt combined with no
max age of who can adopt.
The process begins with a $300 CAD down payment which shows your intent
to adopt one of our dogs. Then you take the dog home for 3-4 weeks to see
if the dog would make a good
fit. If not that's okay because you can try another dog,
this not only ensures you get a dog that you will love and that you are ready for
the long term commitment of dog
ownership, but also allows the dog to be exposed
to plenty of environments. If you decide you want to keep the dog then you will just
have to pay the vet fees the dog cost
the organization. We will even watch your
dog if you continue to support the organization through volunteer work or donations.
